Atop Mount Atago, where Canadian missionary A.C. Shaw built Karuizawa's initial villa, lies OPUS ATAGO—a residence born in a location that allows one to extend their steps down to the old Karuizawa Ginza and savor the richness of nature and unique delights of Karuizawa. Set amid towering trees, this dwelling boasts a sharp presence characterized by straight lines. The greenery beyond the windows becomes borrowed scenery, enriching life within. Leveraging the serene stream nearby, the interior features bathrooms where one can unwind without concern for prying eyes.
